Getting Started with Crave Activation
Activating Crave is straightforward once you know the steps. Whether you're using a smart TV, streaming stick, gaming console, or mobile device, the activation process follows a similar pattern: install the app, get an activation code, and verify it at crave.ca/activate. This guide walks you through every step.
What You'll Need Before You Begin
- An active Crave subscription (Basic, Standard, or Total)
- Your Crave account email and password
- A second device (phone, tablet, or computer) to complete the web activation
- A stable internet connection on both devices
Step-by-Step Activation on Smart TVs & Streaming Devices
- Install the Crave app — Search for "Crave" in your device's app store (e.g., LG Content Store, Samsung Smart Hub, Amazon Appstore, Roku Channel Store) and install it.
- Open the Crave app — Launch it and select Sign In from the home screen.
- Choose "Activate on a Website" — Some devices may label this "Sign in with a code." Select this option.
- Note your activation code — A unique alphanumeric code will appear on your TV screen. These codes typically expire in 10–15 minutes, so act promptly.
- Visit crave.ca/activate on another device — Open a browser on your phone, tablet, or computer and navigate to the activation page.
- Sign in to your Crave account — Enter your registered email and password.
- Enter the activation code — Type the code exactly as shown on your TV screen and click Activate.
- Return to your TV — Within seconds, your TV should refresh and you'll be signed in and ready to stream.
Activation on Mobile (iOS & Android)
On smartphones and tablets, activation is even simpler — no separate device is needed:
- Download the Crave app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Open the app and tap Sign In.
- Enter your Crave account email and password directly.
- Tap Sign In again to complete the process.
Activation via Web Browser
No app needed — you can stream directly from crave.ca:
- Go to crave.ca in any modern browser.
- Click Sign In in the top-right corner.
- Enter your email and password, then click Sign In.
Activation Code Tips
- Codes are case-insensitive but double-check for look-alike characters (0 vs O, 1 vs I).
- If your code expires, simply refresh the app on your TV to get a new one.
- Don't share your activation code with anyone — treat it like a temporary password.
How Many Devices Can You Activate?
Crave allows you to have the app installed on multiple devices, but simultaneous streams depend on your plan:
